The Sno-Drifters Family safe Ride day is an annual event put on for both our existing members and new people looking to explore our trails, meet people and learn how to be safe when they ride. Join us for a coffee, tea and snacks before we gear up and hit the gorgeous trails that we so proudly maintain. After a nice ride we will have lunch by the fire pit and trade stories of our sledding experiences in the area.
It is a wonderful way for new riders and experienced riders new to the area to meet like minded people and maybe even make a new friend or two.
The Salvation Army has generously donated their time and truck to provide us with hot beverages and snacks. They will have a donation jar set up. They do so much for our community and any help would be greatly appreciated.

DATE: January 22nd, 2017
LOCATION: Drifter Garage. Take highway 69, travel 4 km past the airport turn off. If you get to the turnoff to Saprae Creek you have gone too far. Look for our sign on the right side of the highway. Please drive safe:)
Event Day Schedule:
10am-10:30am: This time is dedicated to filling out waivers, unloading your machines and having a hot coffee or tea to keep you warm. We will have the Drifter Garage open for our members to stay warm.
10:30am-11am: SARS and the RCMP will be doing a short safety presentation and will answer any questions you may have.
11am-2:30pm: FREE trial rides on one of two supplied snowmobiles. If you've never ridden beforecome join us and try it out!
11am: Guided ride starts. We will be visiting the Bean and Wells fire pits where we will cook our hotdogs and smokies over a roaring fire and meet up with other sledding enthusiasts out for the day.
*The time the ride ends is dependant on the speed of the ride and the riders attending. Don't worry, we are like soldiers and leave no one behind :)
